I’m Cody Lee, a Pacific Grove-based artist launching my new chapter in Science Illustration. As a painter, electrician, and carpenter, I have worked at such institutions as the Park Avenue Armory, The Shed, The Public Theater, and dozens of off-Broadway theaters on international music, dance, and performance art pieces. I’ve worked backstage on Little Shop of Horrors, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, The Rite of Spring, Everything That Happened and Would Happen, and countless other shows. My illustration work has been used in conferences such as the Benthic Ecology Meeting in 2023 and the World Conference on Marine Biodiversity in 2020 wherein I depicted deep-sea animals for the work of Dr. Lauren Dykman.
